27 February Nature's Antidepressant WATERFALLS
Good evening all!!! I do hope your week has been a grand one. This entry will be about an article I read in todays paper. I, being the "mermaid" that I am , found it quite intrigueing.
It has been said that people can be divided into three categories, according to the form of water to which they're most drawn. You're a river person, a lake person or an ocean person. But we may all be WATERFALL people.
Who, after all, is immune to the strange spell cast by falling water? Whether it's a roaring Niagra-size cascade or a single ribbon of whitewater spilling down a mossy cataract, waterfalls are as mesmerizing as flame.
To stand in the mist coming off a waterfall is almost a holy experience.
Or is it? Recent scientific research suggests that the contact high we get from waterfalls could be explained by the heavy doses of negative ions we absorb in their presence.
Negative ions don't have an odor or color. They're just molecules that, acted upon by energy, have gained an electron and are this negatively charged. Near pounding surf and waterfalls, the air is lousy with the stuff, giving it a "fresh" quality that impels us to breathe deeply.
Michael Tennan of Columbia University is a specialist in the treatment of SAD, seasonal affective disorder. His research has shown that the effects of negative ions, administered by ion-generating devices, are positive on both physical well-being and mood.
Waterfalls, in other words, could be nature's PROZAC.
So, having read this now, all may throw away there Prozac and let's get back to the basics of well being, and truly enjoy what Mother Nature provides us with.
Hope this sheds some light , ( no pun intended ) on why I love WATER so much. Having grown up on the oceanfront , didn't hurt either.
Now all, may go take their showers......Afterall.isn't showers a form of waterfall??

20 February What's Happening at "PJ's PALACE" **UPDATE.... My second interview went smoothly. May get a call this evening or tomorrow. Pssstt..I think I "landed" this one.**
 WATCH THIS..AWFULLY CUTE!
It is Wednesday and I am going to update everyone on what is going here at "PJ'S Palace". As some of you may or
may not be aware..October 1st I was unexpectedly laid off from my job of 3 1/2 years... Shocked? Oh yes! Never saw it coming. At any rate, I just feel it is their LOSS but at the same time..I needed to find something quickly. Not only for the income but for my sanity. LOL. I am fortunate enough to have enough Customer Service experience that finding a job wasn't that difficult ,however; finding the amount of income I am accustomed to...well, that is a totally different story. I am currently employed but am not happy with the pay. Sure I have weekends off but I'd rather have a higher income. So, I have tweaked my Resume ( yet again) and am hopeful that I will get hired and given the amount of pay I am so deserving of; at a new restaurant that will be opening soon. It is still under construction but I saw an ad that they are hiring and that their training will start March 1st. The name of the restaurant is "TREZ VINO". It will be a posh, Italian restaurant that will cater to upper class and will serve 165 different kinds of wine. Me, being a non-drinker..will need this training on all the diffferent wines as I am NOT a connoisseur. I stopped by there this afternoon before coming home...resume in hand..and got lucky. The General Manager was there and interviewed me. I am to return for a second interview on Monday with the F&B Manager, John. So, one foot in the door and many toes left to go..but am CONFIDENT this is going to work out.
I have not posted many entries due to the scouting of the Classifieds, Careerbuilder.com, Craigslist.com, etc. you get the idea. So, this is where "PJ" is in the REAL world. Always looking for that proverbial "You're time is right around the corner" opportunity.
If I do not have much to write about..you will see plenty of my "IT'S ALL ABOUT the MUSIC" entries. I do love my music. In the mean time, I am on TOP of it and I feel great about at least passing the first interview. So...ON WITH THE SHOW.

The Night Is Theirs
Come crawling....
Slowly, up and up, a quieted twisted, growing wild beneath the sheets....
A whisper....
Barely touched by the air, silent panting, waiting for the right time.....
He crawls himself up her body....
She sleeps so peacefully, he smiles in the darkness. She knows NOT of his plan.....
Erotic kisses....
Trailing down her neck, wake her. His body in full hunger; linger onto her satin skin; his eyes drive her mad....
Breathing increases....
Anticipation grows quick, he growls into the night, needing, wanting her every which way possible....
Wetness....
She feels herself between the sheets, ready to take him to a higher plane of pleasure. He nibbles her neck, sending her over-the-edge-to....
Ecstasy....
Push and pull, he now has her in the most closest way possible....
Back and Forth....
Together their bodies rock in a slowed, hardening rhythm....
Scream....
Together they call....
Pleasure....
Is all fulfilled....
