29 December HAPPY NEW YEARMy wish for all is to have a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 2007. Thank you for making my first year on Spaces such a wonderful experience. I have met awesome people...lost a few to a Higher power...and correspond with many that I consider my Friends. May you all be Blessed.
I do not make New Year's resolutions simply because I live my life to the best of my ability. Love, generosity,and understanding. Each and every year...I do attempt the obvious; which is to live MY life to the fullest and always try to be there for my family and friends. I have lived this way since I was born. It is just me. And that is all I know to do. Work hard, play hard, love hard. The 3 basics.

May your skies be blue, but if they're not, may a gentle rain soothe your troubled mind.
May you be caressed by a cool breeze on a hot Summer day. May God protect you from Mother Nature's dark side and bless you with a glorious rainbow after a storm. Rain falls on all our lives, but I hope you receive only a sprinkle.
May all of your sunsets and dawns be meaningful to you, for one is the beginning and one is the ending. Each sunset marks yet another day gone from your life. Use your days well, for they are precious indeed.
May the melancholy of Autumn not dampen your spirits or laden you with sadness. Use Autumn's beautiful, blazing beauty instead to lift your soul and strengthen your resolve to lead a richer, fuller, better life. Drink from the cup of Autumn and thank your Maker for the miracle of life and its bountiful blessings.
May your horizons be cloudless, and may you and yours be blessed with good health, happiness, and peace of mind.

IT's BEAUTIFUL. 11 December Six Weird things "LIST" about ME***I was tagged awhile back to compile a list of six "weird" things about myself and share them with all. After much consideration..I am willing to do so...for Tom! *** So, here goes:
#1...I love to take bubble baths. And when the faucet drips a few drops of water, I always put my big toe there to feel the droplet of water on it.
 #2...I love to eat real butter. Never give me margarine. YUCK! Same with mayo vs. salad dressing .
 #3...When bathing...I play basketball with the bar of soap. There is a shower caddy hanging above and I "shoot" the bar of soap back into it's place. Am quite good , too.
 #4... Have numbers running through my mind always. Even as a child. For example...when walking down/up stairs..I am counting them...Perhaps this is a sign that I should have been a CPA???
 #5...I have the "need" to be alone. Call it "space" if you wish. That is why I take my "get aways". To find time just for me.
 #6...I love ice cream. I enjoy chocolate..however; have always despised Chocolate ice cream. Vanilla Ice Cream with Hershey's chocolate syrup...scrumptous.. Plain chocolate ice cream.. No way! Now this is "weird".
 There you are TOM....If I am weird, so be it. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I will not pass this on to anyone else, simply because I usually do not do these, but how could I say "no" to my friend TOM?

~*~PJ~*~07 December IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK.....A lot like Christmas!!!! Just finished getting these on the computer so thought I would share part of the newest ALBUM above with one and all. Hope you enjoy. I have been working wayyyyyy too much. LOL. As soon as thing's slow down a bit...perhaps I will actually be able to sit and write a new entry, but for now...this will have to do.

~*~PJ~*~03 December Almost a Year Now.....It is hard for me to fathom this; however it has been almost a year since I started blogging. I have had just under 16,000 hits up to date. If memory serves correctly, I did not start the counter until 3 or 4 months after I began. So, with a smile and a big ole THANK YOU ,it has proven to me that I can take control of this computer that I was so timidly fearing! Learning new things is a must these days and now I am grateful that a certain "someone" encouraged me to start.
I have had "friends" come and go..but I never deleted their names from Spaces I Visit. They are and always have been...with me; if only in spirit. I have had FRIENDS that have passed away during this time. It breaks my heart but I also know that they are in a much better place now. KT ( Tom ) and MUD TREASURE ( Willba ) are the two I am referring to. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Willba at the Las Vegas convention that Tom started. I was not so fortunate in meeting Tom, as he passed away just a few weeks prior to the Convention. He was with us in SPIRIT and the convention was a success; although a small one. 8 of us showed for it. It was truly a most awesome experience actually meeting the people "behind" the comments. I am forever grateful for doing so.
This time of year for me also holds a "personal" sadness. On the right hand column of my Homepage..you will see "Links I Enjoy". Within this link you will see one that says "personal"...El Tigre. None of you had the pleasure of meeting this most brave and kind soul. I "met" him prior to Spaces. He served our country and died almost 4 years ago while doing so. His entire unit was ambushed and there were no survivors. I have always taken this esecially hard because the last three correpondences with him were , at the least, heartbreaking. You see El Tigre "KNEW" he would never return to the U.S. And subsequently...he was correct. "El Tigre, I am so grateful that we "met" and got to correspond for those years. You are an inspiration to all and you will be forever in my heart. May you rest now. I am aware you were not afraid to die for your country. But when the news comes ..and is ..final, it takes on a whole new perspective. I miss you....I cried for you...I prayed for you..and again, I miss you terribly. I know that you are looking down on me and feel the "pain" I have experienced. I am now..letting go of this pain, as I promised I would...in my own time. The time is now..my dear Friend. So to "El Tigre"...a kiss , a hug, and a forever bond. There shall never be another one as kind, honest, and brave as you were. Merry Christmas, sweet one."
