SCHOONER ALLIANCE.. PARADISE

\Yesterday ( Monday ) was close to 50 degrees here in the Midwest with strong SOUTH winds blowing. Last evening , even with the South winds, the temperature stayed the same. When I awoke and left for work this morning it was still almost 50 and still breezy! One after getting to work the winds switched directions and they are now coming out of the NORTH up to 50 mph!!!!! Not only an Arctic front blowing in but also white out conditions because of the blowing snow. The streets are slick and I was "white-knuckled" by the time I finally backed into my garage. Whewww...what a change. The wind chill factor is below zero and well..you get the point.

Mr.PJ was reminding me about a musician we had seen in concert and purchased 2 CD's from. I asked him the other evening who he was listening to. He replied "Mike Aiken". "Oh, we saw him at the Unity Temple Church on the Country Club Plaza once. Correct"? To this he nodded his head. This musician was influenced by none other than JIMMY BUFFET. That is why when I heard the tunes playing, I thought of Jimmy. To make a long story short, he is worth listening to and I found a site of his that is fabulous!!! He travels with his wife and they also have a most magnificent schooner. The schooner you will see in the photos was sold to the current owners by Mike and his wife and they now have cruises where they play their music a week at a time on it. How cool is that? The photos in the above album are from his site. You MUST click this link and go visit. They actually offer "cruises" on this Schooner and I am blown away. This Link has helped me through this harsh weather and returns me to my "roots" of Palm trees, ocean breezes, and surf. To this...I am most grateful.

For some odd reason..it decided to change all on it's own. I have no clue what to do to improve it. I will not give up on getting it back to it's original size so in the mean time..just remember..I am aware of the unsightliness and is on my agenda of things to do.
